FABULOUS WATERFRONT PROPERTY in Chateau Estates has been completely rebuilt inside and out. The unique layout and professional workmanship combine to make it look and feel like a new bungalow.  Large, VERY PRIVATE  backyard with chain link fence at back river's edge has an exceptional  panoramic view that includes migrating birds resting on the tidal North River each spring and fall.   2 storage barns (one 2 yrs old).  Electrically heated throughout with 3 separate zones: a clean, comfortable, cost-effective alternative to soaring oil prices. Smoke free home.

Work Completed in 2007

Exterior,(14'x64')

Removal of all exterior cladding, vinyl siding then professionally installed over rigid styrofoam insulation and Tyvek.  New peaked roof built with trusses, R40 insulation and ridge venting. All new pressure-treated skirtboard. Shutters on front windows.  Installed outside tap, 3 new outside light fixtures, 2 new exterior electrical outlets, 2 new exterior steel doors. All vinyl windows, several new added in 2007, most notably a large picture window in the living room, as well as a good sized window in the dinette area, allow you to enjoy the amazing view  from all rooms.  New aluminum gutter system on both sides.  New back deck. 25'x10' front deck, newly stained.

Interior,

Removal of interior panelling and old insulation, replaced throughout with gyproc construction and new insulation, plus added reflective foil insulation in living room, kitchen, dinette and bathroom areas keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.  All new colonial doors, casings and baseboards, new laminate and vinyl flooring. Lots of cupboard and storage space.

Bathroom: new 49" maple vanity with large oak mirror, new toilet, new tub surround, newly constructed linen closet and new birch doors on cupboards above the included washer and dryer, new waterproof rubber membrane laminate flooring.  

All new quality taps and shut-off valves in both kitchen and bathroom. New kitchen countertops, new vinyl floor, some new cupboards, new fridge, new rangehood, ceramic top stove with self cleaning oven. 

Electrical upgrades include prewiring for TV and phone, complete wiring for electric heat (after removal of oil furnace and tank ), all wiring professionally inspected, with many outlets added and others replaced, new contemporary light fixtures.

Bedrooms: both have new large, sliding mirrored closet doors, as well as new laminate flooring.
